Special Educational Needs and Disability Action Group (SENDAG)
Our SENDAG group will be meeting in the second half of each term during 2016-2017.
If you would like to join the group and meet with our SENDCo and Designated Governor to be more involved in how we can work together to support our pupils with special educational needs and disabilities we would love to hear from you. The commitment in terms of attending a meeting is three times a year but how you choose to support the work of the school is limitless if you have time on your side! Often practical help in laminating resources can go a really long way to supporting the needs of identified pupils. Chatting with other parents and carers over a cup of tea can also be a super 'spin-off' - we all need a listening ear and this group guarantees that. Please consider contacting Mrs Legge and coming along to the group. Your child does not need to be on the school special educational needs register. You may just want to meet other parents and offer your support and friendship.
A personal plea from Mrs Legge 'I would love to see this group become more involved in the life of our school. New members have already signed up for our first meeting of this academic year so you will not be the only new face. Why not give me a call at school to find out more? There is no obligation to join the group- but you may want to after you know a little more about what it entails. I look forward to hearing from you'.
