School and Community
Throughout our Global Curriculum school and community links are central to all we do.
Every Thursday morning at 9am we hold our KIndness Cafe. It's a great place to meet new faces and to speak with Mrs Atkinson Jones, our Social Learning Mentor, Mrs Legge, our Deputy Headteacher and Special Educational Needs and Disability Co-ordinator and school staff who are on hand for informal chats.
The idea of our Kindness Cafe is to spread kindness to each other. Alongside refreshments we run a 'swap-shop' where we welcome items being brought along and swapped e.g. non-perishable food items, toiletries, books and pre-loved school uniforms. Everyone is welcome.
Please come along to our Key Stage 2 dining room and start your Thursday morning with a warm cuppa, refreshments. company and the chance to give and receive kindness. Toddlers are welcome to attend and we have toys on hand to keep them entertained.
If you want to find out more please give Mrs Legge or Mrs Atkinson Jones a call on 01325 300334.
We always look forward to seeing more new faces ccoming along and attending our cafe.
