Dear Parents/carers,

I have no doubt you will have heard the news, over the weekend, about the new variant of COVID and the measures the Government is putting in place.

At the moment in Primary schools nothing will change.

I am following DfE advice as always. The measures we have always had in place will continue until the advice changes:

· The children are still operating in year group bubbles with staggered starts, playtimes and lunchtimes.

· All visitors into school, are asked to wear masks, any visitors are kept to an absolute minimum.

· Sanitising canisters are still being used weekly

· Handwashing and sanitising are still happening at transition points during the day.

· Classrooms ventilated

· Risk Assessments updated

The events planned over the next couple of weeks will continue as planned at this point. For any events in school we will be asking you to wear masks once in the school building.

I will keep you updated should there be any changes.
