Newsletter - Friday 20th May 2022

20 May 2022 (by Vicky)

Dear Parents/carers,

Hello, Friday again!

It’s been another very busy week again- with the visit from the Red Heart on Wednesday, great fun but also very importantly raising money for the defibrillator in school.

The children had an excellent day learning new skills that may one day save a life. Thank you to Sergio and Red Sky for delivering these very important messages.

So far, we have raised £476 towards the £2000 target. Thank you again for your generosity.

Please look on the website and Instagram page for the pictures of the day.

Next week Year 2 will be doing their assessments and we all wish them lots of luck, I’m sure they will all make us very proud.

COVID 19

New DfE guidance from April 2022 states that from now the isolation period is 3 days for children from their first positive day and 5 days for adults. There is now no requirement for two negative LFTs.

This is only guidance but we do ask that this is followed so that we can keep numbers low.

Attendance is now only recorded as an illness- there is no mark specifically for COVID.

Thank you for your continued support.

Have a lovely weekend and stay safe.
