Coronavirus Update 26/03/20

26 March 2020 (by Vicky)

A message to the pupils of Sugar Hill from Mrs O'Rourke and the staff of Sugar Hill Primary School.

Dear children,

I have decided to write this letter to say hello and hope that you are all safe and well.

You will all be aware of the Corona Virus and why you are not allowed to come into school. This is a time of many changes for you and your families and some of these changes may be scary, so you must make sure you talk to the adults around you about your thoughts and feelings. They are there to help you.

I know that you will be missing coming into school, seeing your friends and enjoying lessons together. I only hope that it will not be too long before that can happen again.

Please understand that you are not allowed out unless it’s absolutely necessary or you are walking with your family. You must not meet your friends or play out in order to stay safe.

Make the most of this time away. Carry on reading and working but have fun when you can and be kind and caring to those around you.

I want to say that I am so very proud of all of you. You are the most wonderful children, kind and caring of each other, hard working and just a joy to be around. You are amazing.

The Sugar Hill family is happy and strong and when this is all over we will be there for you. The staff are missing you all and looking forward to the day when we can all be together again.

Stay safe and I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Mrs O’Rourke and all staff
