Newsletter - Friday 17th June 2022

17 June 2022 (by Vicky)

Dear Parents/carers,

Friday again! What a lovely week of weather we have had, makes a change!

Another busy week- Year 1 have visited Hardwick Park. Their behaviour was exemplary and a fabulous day was had by all.

All Year groups are now well into preparing for their Curriculum events, they are so excited to show you their learning over this term. Individual Year group letters will be coming next week.

Reminders

Packed Lunches for Visits out of school

Please ensure the children have their lunch with them on the day of the visit if that is what you request. We can not provide lunches on the day due the rules laid down in Natasha’s Law.

Uniform

Please remember that extreme hair styles, nail varnish and jewellery are not part of school uniform. Hair accessories should be small and green where possible. No large bows or head bands.

As the weather gets warmer the children can wear sandals but please ensure that these are not backless or heeled.

Sun Cream/hats

Sun cream can be brought in as long as the children can apply it themselves. Please send hats/caps with the children if needed- they will be outside a lot during this half term.

Late mornings and afternoons

At the moment there is a 10-minute window to drop off and pick up your children, however we are getting more and more children late on a morning and more parents/carers late to pick up after school. Please ensure the children are here on time as they are missing vital learning when they are late. You must also continue to ring the office if you are going to be late.

The children can also become distressed when they are last to be picked up or have to come to the office.

Sugar Hill Coffee Stop

The coffee stop will continue to be open every Tuesday morning this half term in the dining room from 9.05am to 10.00am. Come to Entrance B as soon as you have dropped the children off.
